Waterford electronic music institution RePublik Music Recordings, the budding label of the noted party throwers, shines the spotlight on a local Irish talent with its latest release, welcoming Between Ourselves to the family. They follow in the footsteps of artists like Patlac, Matthias Meyer, Mathias Schober and Wayne Duggan. It’s only three releases in for the young imprint and the quality has yet to falter. Between Ourselves have rendered two splendid original cuts for the occasion, they come in the form of ‘Content Aware Scale’ and ‘Nostalgia’. To boot, RePublik lay the icing on the cake with a supreme rework from a man who needs little introduction; Maeve and Innervisions producer Aera.
