Traxsource X When We Dip – Weekend Weapons Chart – November 11th

When We Dip
Deep House, Electronic, News
11 November 2016

It’s our favourite time of the week. You can feel the excitement level rise at WWD HQ as we put our hands on the Weekend Weapons from our pals at Traxsource – The home of modern house music. As usual, we’ve an awesome ensemble of tunes lined up for you in our wildcard cards selection. It features dynamite cuts that will light up your Friday night celebration. This week sees music from M.A.N.D.Y, Ali X & Theus Mago, Love & Other, Colm K and lots more!

WWD Wildcard Selection:

5. M.A.N.D.Y – Rabbit Mountain [Get Physical]

German duo and label bosses M.A.N.D.Y have just released their new album titled ‘’Double Fantasy’’. From a original track listing of 50 tunes, they brought down that number to 14. One of those 14 is ‘’Rabbit Moutain’’. This piece features the deep-minimal vibe we known them for. Those icons of the electronic dance music never let us down.

4. Ali X, Theus Mago – Vision [Turbo Recordings]

Canadian producer Ali X of Azari & III and Theus Mago team up for this 5 track EP, released on Montreal-based imprint Turbo Recordings. This cut features pitch-shifted vocals over an intoxicating base that will surely keep you movin’.

3. Colm K – Time Again [R2]

Colm K, who began his journey in electronic music back in 2003, when he was selected for the Red Bull Music Academy, showcases all his versatility with this 3 tracker. ‘’Time Again ‘’ is a mid tempo groove filled dinger with floating melodies.

2. J Paul Getto, Alex Herrera – Everything Changes (Original Mix) [Glasgow Underground]

J Paul Getto and Alex Herrera from the FogBank roster join forces on this one. ‘’ Everything Changes’’ is built with a killer vocal, horns and groovy base-line. Let’s dance!

1. Mad Villains – Senses feat. Aisha Zoe (Extended Mix) [Love & Other]

Sitting on top of our wildcard selection this week, it’s Mad Vilains and the talented vocalist Aisha Zoe. Out on the Love & Other imprint ‘’Senses’’ has a club-friendly vibe. Infused with sophisticated, straight from the soul vocals and paired with a heavy kick drum this one will surely make the temperature on the dancefloor rise. Definitely earned the WWD team’s approval.
