Traxsource X When We Dip – Weekend Weapons Chart – November 25th

Charles Valentin
Deep House, Electronic, News
25 November 2016

It’s Friday night, gather the crew and sit tight because this week’s selection is all about quality. Courtesy from our pals at Traxsource – The home of modern house music, the WWD team lins up top notch jams for your own enjoyment. The wildcard picks feature acts like Kapote, Angelo Ferreri, Caprivian and many more!

WWD Wildcard Selection:

5. Kapote – Get Down Brother [Toys Tonics]

Once again, Kapote brings us into the past with a 4 tracker on the Toy Tonics imprint.’’Get Down Brother’’ features a melodic bass lines with a heavy funk vibe straight from the 70’s. Taste that!

4. John Julius Knight – Boogiedown [Blacklist]

Miami-Based producer John Julius Knight is back on Blacklist with another high quality jam. Let’s boogie!

3. Caprivian – Feel The Same [DNH]

Out on the Toronto-based label DNH, ‘’ Feel The Same’’ treats us to an unconventional but super effective arrangement. The tension rising through the whole record keeps you hooked till the very end.

2. House Soldiers – The Swing [King Street Sounds]

Making their debut on the King Street label, it’s the House Soldiers. The duo offer us a bass driven cut, layered with punishing drums over a killer vocal snippet. Feel the groove.

1. Angelo Ferreri, Topa – Da Music So Funky (Original Mix) [Mood Funk Records]

On top of our wildcard selection this week it’s Angelo Ferreri, who’s teamed up with Topa. This feel good jam is dressed with a funky rhythm pattern and intoxicating vocal! This dance filler takes absolutely no prisoners. Enjoy! 😃
