Just yesterday Barnt revealed the name of his next record on the German label Holger. A label born in Leipzig in 2013 and run by brothers Jan & Steffen Bennemann. Barnt, a German himself stared releasing music in 2010, but the release that really got his name out into the open world of electronic music was his 2014 record “His Name” ep on the mighty Hinge Finger. Particularly with the stomping techno track “Chappell”.

This record shows Barnt showing the full extent of his production capabilities and really shows the variety that he brings to the table as a musician. The record has been in the bags of top class deejays all over the world for the past few months, we first came across it through a recording of Joy O & Solar B2B at Dekmantel festival this year and has had trainspotters crying out for an ID. The record is due out February 10th 2017.
