Due on January 27th Berghain residents Ben Klock and Marcel Dettmann team up once again to bring a seven track double EP out for Ostgut Ton’s 100th EP release. The EP is titled Phantom Studies and according to the label, the record brings a mix of “hypnotic, melodic and soulful music.” Interestingly enough the record also features vocals from both techno heavyweights. Klock provides a “spoken word sermon” in the track ‘Prophet Man’. While Marcel brings a voice to ‘The Room’

The record shows a wide range in varieties of techno, most notably for us is the 134BMP monster titled ‘No One Around’. This is the pairs first combined effort in almost 11 years and needless to say people are very excited to get their hands on this one. DON’T SLEEP!
