Traxsource X When We Dip: Weekend Weapons Chart – January 13th

Charles Valentin
Deep House, Electronic, News
13 January 2017

Ohhh yes oh yes! It’s our favourite time of the week. You know it well! It’s Friday night, it’s time to do it right. Before we clock off for the weekend and make our way to the dance-floor, we bring you the essential collection of Weekend Weapons in collaboration with our friends at Traxsource. This week, we’ve got fresh cuts from the Black Loops, Audiophile Deep, Quince, Christian Nielsen and more!

WWD Wildcard Selection:

5. Carlos Mendoza – Stranger [Audiophile Deep]

Carlos Mendoza sets the fire alight with a lush disco infused banger called ‘Stranger’. Get ready for the dance-floor magic!

4. Quince – Rif [SoHaSo]

At no.4 it’s Quince on Something Happening Somewhere, taking us deep into the underground witha brooding trip in ‘Rif’. Vibes!

3. Bunte Bummler – 90’s Hood Boys (Black Loops remix) [Nite Grooves]

Bunte Bummler gets a touch up from two of our favourite Italians, the inimitable Black Loops. They’ve reworked ’90’s Hood Boys’ into a shufflin’ groover.

2. Christian Nielsen – We Go Own [Play It Down]

Danish producer Christian Nielsen heating things up at no.2, he’s delivered a right auld dinger on Jesse Rose’s Play It Down, blending some tight rides, a tidy arp and slow-winding synth line over a firm groove.

1. thatmanmonkz – Burnin’ Up (ft.Danae) [Shadeleaf]

No.1 in our wildcard selection this week is thatmanmonkz. Appearing on Shadeleaf with ‘Burnin’ up’, this is what the weekend is all about.

Make sure to dig the full chart below:
