20 January 2017

2017 is already off to a flying start! We’re all set in the dance-floor groove and ready to bring you the latest edition of Weekend Weapons in association with our friends at Traxsource – the home of modern house music. The dingers are plentiful this week as we host top notch tunes from the likes of Isolee, Shaded & Harvard Bass, Lay-Far, Saison and more!

WWD Wildcard Selection:

5. Dirt Loopz Makerz – Got Me Feeling Original Mix [Figo Vide Records]

Kicking off this week’s picks with a gem from Figo Vide Records. ‘Got Me Feeling’ has all the right vibes to get you movin’ this weekend. Turn it up!

4. Shaded & Harvard Bass – Time Wasting [Turbo Recordings]

In at no.4 it’s Shaded & Harvard Bass with all you need to lose your mind, body and soul on the dancefloor. Prepare to be hypnotised!

3. Saison – Caught Up [Papa Records]

London-based duo Saison brings the House Music goodness to the fore in a chunky four-four dinger titled ‘Caught UP’. Irresistable grooves 🙂

2. Lay-far – Many Sided [Shadeleaf]

Lay-far keeps the good vibes comin’ with an old school flavoured House peach in ‘Many Sided’. Awesome outing from the Moscow based man and Shadeleaf.

1. Isolee – Pisco [Maeve]

Topping this week’s wildcard selection at no.1 with it’s Isolee with his debut on Mano Le Tough’s Maeve imprint. ‘Pisco’ is delectable fusion of melody and raw power. Peak time perfection. Get it on the system!
