In exactly a months time Manchester’s humble Heaton Park will be in full flow, transformed from an idyllic Grade II historic area into a 70,000 capacity festival. Yep you guessed it – Parklife makes it’s annual return on the 10th/11th of July, showcasing some of the finest house and techno in the scene today. Brace yourselves, there’s a lot to get excited about.

Saturday sees Manchester’s infamous party label The Warehouse Project host a stage alongside Kaluki Music for a day of all out tech house hedonism. Hot Creations honchos Richy Ahmed and Jamie Jones will be in attendance, with Seth Troxler and The Martinez Brothers also joining the party. Expect nothing less than perfection, with plenty of techy beeps and squeeks to keep everyone happy.

Scottish legend Jackmaster takes over the Palm House stage, and invites current XOYO resident The Black Madonna, along with Phonox mainstay Hunee. Detroit legend Moodymann completes the stage lineup, for an all day house and disco party showcasing some of the UKs most in demand talent.

Fast forward to the 11th and it seems techno is top of the festivals agenda. The Warehouse Project go solo on the Sunday, hosting their own stage that’ll be graced by four of techno’s biggest titans: Carl Cox, Adam Beyer, Joris Voorn and Kolsch. We’ll let that sink in…

Headlining The Hangar will be Swedish talent Eric Prydz, alongside Maya Jane Coles following her Printworks debut in February. Also on the bill are UK duo Dusky, and one of the USA’s finest exports Armand Van Helden will be making an appearance.

Elrow return on the Sunday for a legendary Far West shindig, and bring with them the esteemed likes of Skream, Yousef and Italian techno boss Joseph Capriati. There’s no denying these parties are always off the chart, and if the tickets for Elrow Town London Outdoors sold out in a matter of hours, then it’ safe to say this one isn’t to be missed.

Feel My Bicep is the name of the game over at the Palm House stage on Sunday. Resident Advisor’s number one Dixon joins the antics, along with rising Scottish heavyweight Dennis Sulta, Gerd Janson and of course Belfast duo Bicep. With a stage lineup like that it’s certainly received the When We Dip stamp of approval.

With all that talent, choosing what stage to go to on the day is going to be no easy feet. Either way with exactly a month to go there’s plenty to get excited about. So roll up roll up, Parklife looks set to be a right romper stomper!
