NYC-based DJ & producer Moon Boots, has today announced that his debut album will be out on August 4th, via Anjunadeep. The album will be aptly titled ‘First Landing’ and will be the first glimpse into a full length project from the ultra-talented producer.

‘First Landing’ is slated to be an “ambitious 10 track LP showcasing his impressive range as a producer, seamlessly blending classic US house sounds with funk and soul influences, expansive electronica, sun-kissed R&B and moody dance-floor energy.”, according to the press release.

Currently based in Brooklyn, by way of Chicago, Moon Boots has established himself as highly respected producer in the NYC house scene. With track support from BBC Radio 1’s Annie Mac and KCRW’s Jason Bentley, Moon Boots has quickly earned a name for himself both in the local NYC scene and the online blogosphere alike.

‘First Landing’ will be the ninth artist album to be released on Anjunadeep, the deep house off-shoot of Above & Beyond’s classic label Anjunabeats. Moon Boots will join Dusky, Cubicolor and Lane 8 as the only artists to have released their debut albums on the label.
