Dublin based producer and artist Neonfrench, aka Djamel Medjy, is set to release of his debut album ‘Half-caste’ on his new label PORTALS, on July 14th, 2017. The label is co-run with Ian O’Donovan of Drumcode/Intec as well as Darren Rice known for his work on Beat 102-103FM.

The basis of the ‘Neonfrench’ project is to exhibit emotions of love inspired by his unique upbringing. It is about unification, no matter what your situation in live may be, or have been. On the album, he’s used an Access Virus TI, Maschine, Juno 60, Juno 106, Tr-909, Spectrasonics Omnisphere and FM8. While the Hammond organ plays a central role on a couple of the tracks.

The track ‘Life in the Bus Lane’ in particular, encompasses diverse sounds that progressive slowly into a musical journey. Listen in full premiere only on When We Dip today!
