24 July 2017

July closes out with the latest record from Stuttgart’s vinyl-only Rough Limited imprint in the form of the ‘Places’ EP. It arrives courtesy of label founder Tobi Danton. Born and raised in Stuttgart, Danton is most certainly a rising German talent with a taste for blending a distinct rawness with the  more musical end of the house music spectrum, taking influence from Chicago and the origins of house.

The Rough Limited imprint, which Danton launched in 2013 alongside Daniel Napolitano, has released material previously from the likes of Diego Krause, Soul Of Hex, Nick Beringer and Kindimmer. This time out the fines groove on the ‘Places’ EP is already drawing support from names like Jimpster, The Black Madonna and DJ Steaw. Listen in full to ‘Dope Places’ below.

Release: 25th July 2017 – pre-order here.
