28 July 2017

It’s Friday night, you know the drill. Now it’s time to relax and get into the zone since tonight you go to the disco. To accompany you in this moment we propose you take a look at our wildcard selection picked out of the weekend weapons brought to you by our pals at Traxsource: The home of modern house music. This week’s selection features Detroit Swindle, Tim Green, Real J and many more.

WWD Wildcard Selection

5. Real J – Here I Am [Wolf Music Recordings]

Real J also known as Real D. burst on the scene in 2016 with his breaktrhough track ‘’Rhodes That’’ released on the vinyl imprint ‘Waxtefact’. He’s now back on WOLF with a different alias. ‘’Here I Am’’ is a dusty house record infused with a disco touch. Enjoy

4. Freiboitar – What This Money Worth (Original Mix) [Clair de Lune Records]

The German Dj and Producer, Freiboitar, makes his debut on the Belgium imprint ‘’Clair de Lune Records’’. A organic groover, layered with a killer vocal snippet.

3. Tim Green, The Slow Revolt – Still Not Born (Club Mix) [Cityfox LTD]

The established producer Tim Green teamed up with the talented vocalist The Slow Revolt to offer us a warm and lush deep piece. Find out by youself what it’s all about.

2. Project89 – Ain’t Ready Yet (Original Mix) [All About House]

Fresh new talent coming straight from Holland, the duo Project89 bring up the heat with this groover. Punishing drums driven by a heavy bassline.

1. Detroit Swindle – Can Hold It [Heist Recordings]

Delivering their 4th solo EP and release #26 for their very own Heist Recordings imprint, Detroit Swindle have managed to grab the number one spot of our wildcard selection this week. The guys showcase their love for lush disco and analogue bass-lines for this one. Turn up the volume.
