What better way to close off the summer than with a boat party featuring music by techno pioneer, Carlo Lio!

Darkroom will be celebrating its 5 year anniversary this Sunday, September 10th, with the return of its yearly boat party.

If you’ve attended a Darkroom boat party in the past, you know that its host, Mike Larry, brings his A game when it comes to smashing techno parties.

This year, we welcome talented DJ/ producer Carlo Lio to the boat decks to bring you a variety of powerful tech-house and techno beats. With home bases in both Toronto and Barcelona, Lio has implemented his rare talent all over the world at major events like the BPM festival, Digital Dreams, and Music On in Ibiza. Lio is a force to be reckoned with and we are anxiously awaiting his arrival to the annual Darkroom boat party.

The boat will be leaving from section #24 at the Yacht Club in the Old Port of Montreal, Canada. Boarding time is at 4-4:30pm, and will depart at 5:00pm. The boat will later return to the same location at 9:00pm.

Besides smashing techno beats that will have you non-stop dancing, the event will include a BBQ with hotdogs and burgers as well as fresh fruit.

Not to worry techno heads, the party will not be ending here! The official after party will be taking place at Stereobar with Mike Larry and Kontrast on decks.
