The Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE), an initiative of Buma, is the largest club festival in the world and holds the most significant business conferences among the electronic music scene. This year, the 22nd edition of ADE will feature a record number of approximately 2,500 performers in over 140 locations throughout Amsterdam. Major players like Irvine Welsh, Pussy Riot’s Nadya Tolokonnikova, and Martin Garrix are among the impeccable list of artists performing in the event.
This year, new, exciting changes have been made to give festival attendees, entrepreneurs, and performers a more efficient experience at ADE. After 16 years in the Felix Meritis, ADE Conference will be moved to the DeLaMar for the 22nd edition to allow major renovations to take place in its old venue. The new ADE Festival Hangout, located at De Brakke Grond, will be the dedicated place to ‘immerse in sound’ from ADE’s Wednesday through till Saturday, with Q&A’s featuring Surgeon,DVS1, Soulwax, Lady Starlight, and Tiga, as well as masterclasses, gear demonstrations, modular synth setups, audio-visual experiences, live performances and more.
New announcements have been released from the ADE team, including the addition of new artists to the already impressive line-up. The latest additions include: Armin van Buuren, Charlotte de Witte, Dixon, Helena Hauff, Jon Hopkins, Maceo Plex, Nina Kraviz and Ricardo Villalobos. These artists almost complete the 2017 line up of the Amsterdam Dance Event.
Another important thing for attendees to be aware that the New ADE Festival Hangout is at De Brakke Grond from Wednesday through till Saturday, and DeLaMar will take centre stage for the ADE Conference.
