Renowned label Whistleblower founded by three underground aficionados; Alan Fitzpatrick (Drumcode/Hotflush), Reset Robot (Truesoul/Cocoon) and Rhymos (Rumors/Murmur), holds a key focus on the combination of House and Deep Techno. The labels roots lie in the close-knit electronic music scenes of both Portsmouth and Southampton on the UK’s South Coast. The label’s latest work is a new EP from Rhymos, who is backed up by a catalogue on the likes of Guy Gerber’s label ‘Rumors’, Murmur, Sintope, Kina Music, and more.

Closing the release is Ben Rau’s remix of ‘Agent Provocateur’, which is centered around the tribal drums from the original making it the most prominent part of the track. In addition, a thick and chunky sound is accompanied by a subtle vocal sample. The rework gives listeners a tougher version with a loopy groove that is perfectly designed for dark room atmospheres and large sound systems.
