Ian O’Donovan makes his debut on his own Portals imprint this September with the ‘Metamorphic’ EP, a three-track collection from the Dublin based artist. When We Dip regulars will know O’Donovan from his extensive back catalogue, which includes tunes via John Digweed’s revered Bedrock Recordings as well as for Techno powerhouses like Drumcode, KMS, Exploited and Tronic. This time out we see O’Donovan proceeding with his own recently founded Portals imprint following its inaugural release in July 2017 from Neonfrench which picked up support from DJ Harvey, James Zabiela and Laurent Garnier. You can now check out the full premiere of ‘Erebus’ – an epic synth-laden beautiful that is already picking up spins from the likes of Garnier and Digweed.
