There’s something funky buried deep inside the latest remix from the UK’s Tommy Vercetti that’s impossible to ignore. His sublime remix of Juanito & Freedom B, on Irish label Strictly Deep is another feather in his already full production cap. We can’t quite pinpoint whether it’s the delicately placed synth sounds or the back and forth male-female vocal snippets but this is a fun, vibrant record. It’s another indication that producer Vercetti continues to mature nicely, adding depth and distinction to his productions, making his stamp as an artist. It also marks another fine release from Strictly Deep who continue to output intelligent dance music records, this time turning to Spaniards Freedom B & Juanito for their debut EP on the label. Alongside the delectable Let You Know and the rumbling Dig This, the release also features a snappy remix from Fancy Inc.
