Berlin’s own Monolink is an artist you should be ready to see a lot of – he’s got a massive album on the way in early 2018. A few weeks ago, he released the debut single Sirens off the record, and it’s a real doozy.
Today, he blessed us with a performance of ‘Sirens’ at Australia’s Strawberry Fields just ahead of its release. The track is a melodic mix of techno and pop; featuring his vocals with crystalline chords and a thumping low end.
Monolink, AKA Steffen Linck, comes from a background of singing and writing songs on his guitar. The Berlin artist has made it a point to never commit to a single style, creating everything from electronic to North American folk and everything in between. His full-length album is proving to be versatile yet refined, acting as a picturesque window into the artist’s evolving mind.
