For the first time this coming Thursday, Montreal will play host to the hugely talented Brazilian producer and DJ, Hauy at the coveted Salon Daomé. His career in music has taken leaps and bounds over the last year with two top tier EP’s released through ‘For The People’ and Lee Burridge’s imprint ‘Get Weird’ as well a debut appearance behind the decks at Burning Man. We had the pleasure of hosting him on our weekly radio show on Ibiza Sonica late last year and the mix he supplied has continued to tick over the play count and receive glowing feedback from all corners of the globe. In fact, opening things up for him will be our very own radio host and A&R man, Dexter Crowe alongside local legend and resident of Le Salon Daomé, Andres Velilla for a b2b session.

His sets are so uniquely his and encompass a wide variety of influences, feels and tempos that effortlessly pull the listener in and take them on a journey that only he could lead. After moving to Toronto last year, he has quickly taken the city by storm playing at the most coveted underground venues on offer. Now it’s finally Montreal’s turn to experience Hauy in the flesh. With a visual team on hand and city sick with Igloofest fever, the feeling in the air on the dance floor will be something to bottle and keep for a snowy day!
