Bahrain’s very own rising talent Zone+ continues to build his momentum after a huge year in 2017, which saw standout releases on labels like All Day I Dream and Underyourskin Records. For his very first release of 2018, he combines with his close friend Bachir Salloum in debuting on Earthly Delights.
The pair have delivered an outstanding three tracker for the occasion. The three originals carry you instantly away to a magical world through phenomenal oriental melodies and rhythms.
The ominous ‘Odin’ opens the EP with its bouncy bass notes and emotive vocal-led breakdown. Two track ‘Planets’ is a similarly atmospheric gem, fusing wavering pads with a bustling energy and housey drums at its base. Zone+ and Bachir Salloum close out he EP with ‘Verses’ – a slow- building groover with a distinct tech edge.
