Luis Leon is back on Nightcolours for their 29th release with ‘Alpha’. Consisting of two variations of the original and a blistering remix from label boss Javier Orduna this pack has something for everyone. Alpha kicks things off with organic drums and reverb soaked percussion chugging gently before deep, warm pads drop in. Darker stabs increase the tension before bright, spacey pads light up the track. The Introspective Mix is an epic, building atmospheric beauty. Nagging arpeggios, glittering percussion and sparkling FX climb ever onwards to huge Boards Of Canada style synths. Javier Orduna closes things with his interpretation of Alpha.
