Raz Olsher’s unique, multi-faceted Bassically project enters the second phase of a 6 record plot running throughout 2018. ‘Introducing 2’ – The follow up EP from the Clapton-based production team and live band – sees yet more sides to their personality pleasingly unfold.

‘From A Vein’ leads the charge with urgent, organic drums and a synth that mutates from stab into growl; all the time partnered by a frenetic vocal loop that phases in and out to great effect. ‘Crackdown’ takes the batton smoothly, wielding a familiar lead, but one that harbours a more playful, gnarly character and occasionally doths a clear cap to Uner’s seminal ‘Bassboot’. The general approach is tighter and more angular, with succulent bleeps and trippy cascades providing the perfect foil for the main event. Wrapping up this stellar threesome is ‘The One’ – a warm and elegant, yet equally punchy – vocal-led houser, underpinned by an addictive, shape-shifting lead that binds the track together beautifully and unashamedly begs for Spring to get a move on already… You can listen to the premiere of ‘The One’ exclusively on When We Dip. Enjoy !

Release date: April 28th 2018.
