DIRTYBIRD Select has just dropped an incredible compilation in celebration of kicking off their 2018 BBQ Tour. The DIRTYBIRD Crew will be smoking meats and spinning beats in Austin, Oakland, and Los Angeles this Summer.
Titled “Filthy Flavor”, it’s no surprise the tracks featured are nothing short of filthy and flavorful. This year’s curation included artists like Desert Hearts head honcho Mikey Lion & Dirtybird crowd favorite Sacha Robotti, UK Heavy Hitter Will Clarke, Midwest Hip-Hop influenced DJ E-Clyps, beat supreme CODES, and many more! We decided to ask some of these artists to share their feelings about signing to the notorious label.

“This was a track that I had started and finished right before Miami Music Week. I was messing around in the studio and ended up making a sound that resembled a bee buzzing. A few hours later “Birds & The Bees” was born. Sometimes I work on a track for weeks and I still don’t think it’s done. But this track just came from somewhere in my head and spilled out into the studio. I remember the first playback after finishing the track and thinking it could be pretty cool, but I honestly didn’t realize how well it would go off until I played it later that week. I’m stoked to put this one out with the Dirtybird family.”
