A familiar face to the Ibiza circuit, Alice Clark makes her return to Mihai Popoviciu’s imprint, Cyclic Records, for the label’s 76th release. Following on from her heavily supported Traverse EP released towards the final third of 2017, the Kent-born selector invites listeners on a deeper journey through the delicate intricacies of her groove driven micro-house sound.

Her latest EP leads in with title track, ‘Vibrational’. Generated from a modular synth, quirky elements arrive early on as they are shaped and coiled around a hypnotic main groove bringing it to life as the track progresses. Her trademark dance-floor focused breakdown introduces a sweeping dubby chord whilst entangled in engulfing vocal murmurs. Dutch DJ/Producer Toman, a rising prospect in his select genre, steps up on the remix of ‘Vibrational’ providing a deeper twist as he delivers his distinct, merciless groove. Closing out proceedings on Alice’s latest release is ‘Trip’ – a groove-driven cut taking influence from her Romanian counterparts. Fuelled by a rolling bassline, a subtle swelling atmosphere is gradually formed through bouncy, stripped back chords sequences entwined in a driving groove. Trippy vocals enter the fold half-way through adding life and making this EP fitting for any intimate setting.  We are happy to premiere ‘Vibrational’ exclusively on When We Dip. Enjoy !
