Pursuit Recordings is the recently founded label of techno producer Rob Hes. Their next release is a collaboration between The Southern and the boss himself. The Italian producer keeps going from strength to strength, which didn’t go unnoticed by head honcho Hes. Their collab evolved quite organically and is one big mesmerising melodic affair, catering to both styles of these prolific producers. Drunken Kong is on remix duties for this EP. Mind blowing strings accompany the known elements of the original in a big room behemoth, which is definitely one step ahead of the curve. Last track of the EP ‘Memento’ demonstrates the raw and chunky sound of The Southern, firmly demonstrating is unique ability to craft quality melodic compositions, while keep some serious attitude in the low end.
