Originally hailing from London, now residing in Ibiza, multi-instrumentalist and DJ/producer Ben Hoo has delivered a very special compilation for Berlin’s Get Physical, a carefully curated collection of brand new exclusive tracks, spanning laid back electronica, balearic beats, minimal grooves and ambient dub techno. A producer famed for his rich diversity, Ben is drawn towards sound manipulation and design when creating his own rich synthetic tones, with his Ibiza mix featuring tracks from the likes of Reboot, Alvaro Medina, Eder Alvarez & Joey Daniel, and Kr!ptone. As well as including his own original productions, his ambient opening track (a collaboration under the alias Depth Migration), the minimal techno groover ‘Meet in the Middle’, and the enchanting ‘An Expanse’, the mix features his immersive remix of ‘See You Next Tuesday’ from industry heavyweights Carl Cox and Nicole Moudaber, and his percussive, reverb drenched adaptation of Blond:ish‘s EEEYAAA.

Featuring all brand new exclusive tracks from producers with a strong link to the White Isle, the compilation marks the second year that Get Physical have asked Ben to curate their Ibiza compilation. Ben laces the mix with the true essence of the Island, creating a Balearic journey from sunset to sunrise. Set for release on 8th June, the Get Physical Ibiza compilation follows Ben’s ‘Expanse EP’ (30th May) and precedes a busy summer for the Brit, including dates at Pacha Barcelona and KaterBlau in Berlin, as well as multiple appearances in Ibiza.
