Premiere: Fake Mood continue to deliver with another delectable EP

Saint Petersburg talents Fake Mood are a duo to keep under watch in 2018. Their ascent has been rapid and justly earned. The pair shot onto the scene with releases on the likes of Click Records, Crossfrontier, SOSO, Steyoyoke and Time Has Changed, while making their Earthly Delights bow earlier this year with a splendid remix of Timjin’s ‘Yamar’. This month they are back on Earthly Delights with their full debut, a mesmerizing 3 track EP.

‘Not Impossible’, a collaboration with Lazarusman, opens the EP. It’s a delectable locomotive with a fast and driving drum line and mysterious vocals coating the surface. Title track ‘Let It All Burn’ comes with a vocal touch from Shawni and offers up a more groovy affair with a delicate combination of shakers and congas on top. ‘Amani’ closes out the EP with a nice downtempo ambient flair, making for all-round eclectic and engrossing experience.
