1st June 2018 sees Croatia’s esteemed DJ/producer Petar Dundov returns to Belgium’s iconic Music Man Records with his brand new Dalmatina / Once We Were Here EP. The essential 2-track offering sees the sophisticated melodic Techno pioneer deliver one of his finest EPs in recent times, following his acclaimed fifth LP At The Turn of Equilibrium and more recent releases on imprints such as GTO Recordings, Last Night On Earth, MOOD and Systematic Recordings amongst others.
The EP’s lead track ‘Dalmatina’ kicks things off, taking the listener on a 9-minute melodic trance-esque journey that boasts a sublime evolving arrangement encompassing, a solid four-to-the-floor rhythm, intriguing percussive elements and a distinctive arpeggiated synth melody that takes centre stage. Next, the 13 minute synth-laden ‘Once We Were Here’ concludes the release in style, serving up masterfully produced electronic tour-de-force comprising of, dancefloor-ready 80s-esque drum programming, a lush emotive chord progression and a beautiful reverb-drenched guitar-tinged lead melody.
