Vantane‘s “They Called Him Little Prince” is the first release of a newly established label from Brixton called Top Brick Records. The title track kicks off proceedings with a hypnotising piano sample soon accompanied by a preaching vocal and screeching synths. Chez Toi follows similar suit this time in the form of grey strings. Add dusty highs, throbbing bass stabs and kooky synths you are left with a complete sense of mystery throughout the whole track. “Looking away” ties up the Mini EP nicely with trancey synths and twinkly atmospheres throughout creating a highly emotive sign out.
