For their next trick, the RADIANT. label offers up some fantastic remixes of tracks from label boss Sabb’s recent LP in the form of a 2 parter. Stepping up with their own spin are Super Flu, Roy Rosenfeld, Re.You and Armonica.
The esteemed German duo Super Flu are first and flip Jeopardized into nine deep and moody minutes of atmospheric grooves. It’s a supple bassline that gurgles down low as brighter synths light things from above. Curious and intriguing throughout it really keeps you locked in. Roy Rosenfeld goes for something more summery, with his spine tingling deep house remix and gorgeous chords on a vital rework of Full Moon Tale ft DAVÍ. Re.You is another celebrated tech artist who goes for a tribal version of Leanas Play that slowly awakens with broad synths and organic found sounds. It’s a spiritual track that strikes a poignant mood, while Armonica goes for a spine tingling, celestial version of Motherlove that is all glowing chords and rich melodies. Last of all, Super Flu turns out an Instrumental Mix of Jeopardized that is stripped back and shuffling, with a warped bassline and suggestive little chord progressions.
