As August draws to a close, Elrow end their summer on a high with a hot hit from respected Italian production wizard, Flashmob. Figital is a collection of 3 original tracks from the esteemed producer.
“I made this EP during my travels to South Africa where I played my first elrow event in Cape Town. My trip there was a true inspiration by all means and resulted in these tracks.” Flashmob.
The EP opens with the title track . It’s a straight up affair with crazy melodies and an ominous vocal line that’s sure to make dancefloors go wild. Next up is ‘Mind Games‘ ringing with it a little more soul and a stronger percussive treatment. ‘Riot In Brixton’ takes the energy up a notch adding effects and a vocal stab that create greater depth as the track builds towards the drop. 2018 has already got off to a huge start for Flashmob, the alias of Alessandra Magani. He’s played standout shows representing elrow at Tomorrowland and Ministry Of Sound, is set to headline Brazil’s XXXPerience Festival this September and his remix of Basement Jaxx’s Fly Life recently hit number 8 in Beatport’s Tech House Charts. Add to this releases on Snatch!, Hot Creations, Gigolo, Glasgow Underground and Toolroom as well as running his own highly successful imprints, Flashmob Records and Flashmob LTD, Magani is proving to be an unstoppable force.
