Keno Records founder David Keno joins the Food Music roster with ‘Revolve / Pick It Up’, backed with a remix from ANOTR. Switzerland-born, Berlin-based DJ and producer David Keno’s career spans over a decade with releases on Relief, Toolroom, and his own Keno Records as well as collaborating and remixing for influential imprints like Get Physical, Poker Flat Recordings and Snatch! to name a few. ‘Revolve’ sets the tone of the package utilising a thumping bass groove, a thundering kick and deep vocal cuts before crisp hats and a warm low end are conveyed in ‘Pick It Up’. Rounding things off, Amsterdam based duo ANOTR offer up their take on ‘Revolve’, contrasting the original with cosmic pad swells, hypnotic synth stabs and a vacillating sub, bringing the EP to a close.
