Fresh from his debut on Sasha’s Last Night On Earth imprint, rising talent Jody Barr makes another first as he delivers the latest edition in our Prima Lux mix series. Drawing influence from the likes of Boddika, Danny Daze, Alex Smoke and Scuba, Barr has swiftly garnered support through his standout releases on Krankbrother’s eponymous label, James Zabiela’s Born Electric, and a series of shows including Room 1 at fabric, Studio 338 and Space Ibiza. The young artist’s burly, rattling main room cuts have made him very much a DJ’s DJ, with regular BBC radio support from the likes of George Fitzgerald and B.Traits, and Sasha marking him as one of his New Names to watch last year.
