The second edition by Cacao Records of the adventurous compilation „There’s always Cacao in Exotic Places” brings forth another slew of various slices in a refreshing sound palette. Tigerskin’s Endless Summer channels the melancholy of summer passing with huge, dreamy pads and lush vocals. And.Id contribute Jet Lag, an arpeggio-heavy dynamic track, a relentless-beat type of construction that keeps feet moving. Sosandflow’s Agbara acts in a similar way, with a steady paced number brimming with undulating synths and wavy sound loops. Boot Slap’s Adumu adds some punch with heavy-hitting drums and a round, booming bassline. Meanwhile label bosses K.E.E.N.E. team up with German duo Los Cabra for a steady-paced journey on 0 Coast, a groovy and ethereal addition. Rounding off the release are Cali Lanauze and Jonny Cruz, bringing their own Caribbean vibe-infused style into life with Backyard Dub, a percussion-heavy groover.
