Printworks London Roundup: Our Top Picks

28 September 2018

Printworks London will be reopening it’s doors this Saturday, on the 29 of September, for the first time since last April. It’s been an eagerly anticipated return, one that has had hopes. The venue itself, along with the lineups, look set to raise the clubbing standard to heights never previously seen. And that’s something we’re all for.

As we mentioned Saturday the 29th of September sees Sven Vath’s infamous Cocoon imprint takeover the press halls, with Dana Ruh, Patrick Topping and Ilario Alicante playing. Our pick there would be Dana, with slick minimal beats she’s certainly set to set the place on fire.

The weekend after that sees Maceo Plex takeover for his renowned Mosaic parties. Jennifer Cardini, Len Faki and Ellen Allien will be making an appearance, providing a heavy dose of techno.

Smirnoff will be hosting an equalising music event on the 13th of October, bringing a selection of forward-thinking house artists to the venue. Artwork, Peggy Gou, Honey Dijon, Haai and The Black Madonna. Now that’s a corker.

Drum and bass heads don’t fret, Chase and Status will be hosting an event in November, and bringing with them My Nu Leng, Randall, Benny L and Jubei. The date of that is the third of November, we can’t wait.

In December, The Hydra will be setting the tone as they bring Jeff Mills, Blawan, James Ruskin and a live performance from Surgeon to the Press Halls. This is our highlight event in the series; a cold, industrial, non-apologetic breed of techno, just what Printworks was made for.

That’s our run through of our favourite events in the upcoming Printworks showcase. Nearly three months of parties showcasing some of the finest talents in various dance music scenes. From house to techno, and right the way through to drum and bass and everything in between, Printworks looks set to raise the clubbing standard once again to heights never previously seen.

If you’re not familiar, have a look at this video below. It won’t disappoint.

Printworks London will be opening its doors on September 28th. All tickets available here.
