Lee Van Dowski – a name that immediately exudes style and intrigue – never stays still for long. The renowned Zurich-based globetrotting DJ/Producer is continually moving forward, seeking out new experiences, experimenting and challenging perceptions. This creative ethos is a perfect fit for Bedrock’s modus operandi, has seen his goose-bump-inducing ‘Ironclad’ feature on both of the recently released ‘Bedrock XX’ and ‘John Digweed Live In Tokyo’ albums, and now sees him unleash a magnificent new 2-track EP.

The mischievous dark prince’s roots go deep, referencing his rave roots within an ever-evolving, forward-thinking approach to his electronic music creation. With ‘Fib0.618’ he builds relentlessly from a powerfully solid percussive backbone, unfurling layers of brooding anticipation and utilising unnerving explosive motifs, to reveal a truly mighty beast beneath. ‘Nob’ notches up the energy levels still further with white-hot sparks of audacious Techno majesty and a deliciously cheeky breakdown, as it evolves into yet another trademark supremely intense audio experience.

Lee Van Dowski’s intensely creative career path has developed over the past 15 years from his breakthrough period with Luciano’s Cadenza platform, through a new creative home at Anja Schneider and Ralf Kollmann’s Mobilee, to his most recent series of releases for John Digweed’s Bedrock.
