When We Dip | Premiere: The inimitable musical force that is Paul Woolford joins the Hot Creations family

Renowned globally for his contribution to the industry, the inimitable musical force that is Paul Woolford joins the Hot Creations family this Autumn with two slices of unadulterated house. Speaking of the EP, Woolford explains that “ ‘House Hits’ is about super-direct tracks with no pretense, of all persuasions, that have created the key moments from my sets. Built to absolutely rock clubs, basements and warehouses the world over.”

The EP kicks off with Story Of My Life. The track uses an old-school house vocal, prominent drum pads and an undeniable groove that’s sure to gets dance floors pulsating. The EP then leads into Don’t Waste My Time, a percussive led, pounding techno number that utilises ghetto house vocals and a low-slung bassline. Paul Woolford has been a key figure in the house music scene for more than two decades. He’s leant his musical talent to over 200 records for the likes of Depeche Mode, Chemical Brothers, Underworld and Krystal Klear amongst others. Woolford has had the privilege of recording not one, but 5 coveted Essential Mixes for Radio 1 and under his Special Request alias, he recently recorded the much hyped FabricLive91. He’s also held down long-standing residencies at renowned Leeds club night Back to Basics and Space on Sundays in Ibiza.
