Following up on a well received debut release with Holland’s Budakid, XYZ returns with their second release, courtesy of rising Swedish producer, Hosini. Still in the beginnings of his career, Hosini is already hotly tipped by heavyweights and is perpetuating the hype with every release. Not one to seek the spotlight, he has already earned attention from DJs and listeners around the world with releases on Anjunadeep and Gorge Hewek & Izhevski’s Shanti Moscow Radio imprint.
Beside his musical talents, he is a focused academic with a bachelor’s degree in Economics and another in Statistics, as well as a Master’s degree in Machine Learning. His sharp mind pervades his music with evidently meticulous attention to detail and skillfully delicate sounds and textures. His forthcoming Soul Search EP on XYZ is absolutely no exception. The minimal, atmospheric dub of Soul Search leads the release, the emotive, groove oriented Centauri develops the story and the melodic, floating Syd completes it with eyes closed and a grin.
