In a surprise twist, dance-pop dynamo David Guetta and underground house hero Black Coffee got together for what may be one of the most controversial grooves of 2018 : ‘Drive’ featuring the vocal of Delilah Montagu. It’s not often you see two artist from opposite ends of the spectrum collaborate in this manner.

“Drive” is a divise cut that blends elements of pop with a taste of underground culture. It’s not exactly our favorite track of the year, although, when we heard that there was going to be a remix package, it renewed our hope.

The remix package has finally arrived and to our satisfaction we did find some really interesting tunes in there from heavy-hitters such as Solardo, Red Axes and more. One of the most interesting reworks on the release is the driving remix from Pablo Fierro, which seizes the spotlight with its tasteful arpeggiator and entrancing African drum. Pablo manage to pull the original back closer to its underground roots. It’s a stellar piece of work.
