A new label to the scene, Sag & Tre for few solid months has been capturing hearts in the niche, while quickly proving that gorgeous music can come from many avenues of life. With support from the likes of Powel and Fernando Ferreyra, Sag & Tre are here to stay.
Sag & Tre now present the first volume of “Freshly Picked” compilation, featuring scene stalwarts signed to labels like All Day I Dream / Anjunadeep and more, the compilation is set to turn a few heads, and stay in your record box for a while. The compilation also features a couple of newcomers, who compliment the entire piece offering something new, instead of deducting from the experience.
Newcomers LØC & Innsæi gave us a taste of what they are capable of with their “Forests” EP back in October 2018. Beirut’s LØC (LineOrCircle), who also had an electrifying remix for Andrew Case on Nie Wieder Schlafen this year, teams up once more on this compilation with Australian sound master Innsæi. After the pair received support from Powel, they return with breathtaking new single “Je Vole” – which isn’t just a track that will go away in a month or two. With support from Sebastien Leger, “Je Vole” is a bold statement on how sets should be closed … or opened, depending on what you like.
This is one of the many Sag & Tre fruits off the compilation, all to be revealed before December 25th, when the compilation is up for pre-order. Artists like Hosini, Powel, Jean Caillou and Ramiro Rossotti have already been announced to appear on the compilation. “Freshly Picked Vol. 1” will release on all digital stores and streaming services on Friday, January 4, 2019.
