Matthias Tanzmann’s contributions to dance music throughout his career have rightfully defined his seminal status within the scene. He has an infinity for all things groovy in the deep and tech house world, made clear through his own productions, his residency at DC10, and through the artists he has helped champion on his label, Moon Harbour.
Tanzmann will be rounding off 2019 with a forthcoming LP, Round and Round, on Moon Harbour, breaking from the norm by releasing each track individually throughout autumn and winter. As well as this he will be in Miami this weekend for Heart Festival and the Circoloco party at Space; we decided to catch up with him to find out what producers he’s feeling at the moment, and who we should keep our ears open for in the new year.

‘He got my attention when I got the promo of his track ‘Journey’ on Saved Records. Funny enough he reached out to me a few days later when I realised I have been playing his track. We connected really quick and decided to collaborate on a track for my Round And Round album. Our track ‘Awakening’ went up to #1 at the Beatport Afro genre as well as ‘Journey’ before.’
