Santiago Garcia is an Argentine producer with a truly spine tingling deep house sound that has made him one of the countries most respected exports. Here he links with Animal Picnic, aka Spanish producers Daniel Banker and Inigo de la Riera who are well established with a strong following all over Dubai, Europe and the States thanks to their dark, bass driven house on Einmusik and Diynamic.

The artists come together here to rework WhoMadeWho’s ‘Hi & Low’ into something subtle and smooth. The elongated chords are dreamy, and the drums succulent, and the whole thing sweeps you gently off your feet and off into the stars. When the spoken word vocal comes in later on, the cathartic effect is only heightened. The instrumental, meanwhile, is more driven, with focus on the keys allowing the melodies to really shine.
