It’s safe to say that Ben Rau and Jansons are two artists very much on the on the rise in their own right, with Jansons’ recent smash ‘Switch’ and Rau’s house bomb ‘Out There’ both doing serious damage in the clubs of late.

This creative partnership was born after being invited by Richy Ahmed to play a ‘Four Thirty Two’ showcase. Quickly realising that they had a common ethos to their creative approach in the studio, it was a natural progression to collaborate. The result is something magical – and a perfect fit for Hot Since 82’s Knee Deep In Sound.

‘The Player’ kicks things off with a super tight and irresistible groove which underpins the track before a sensual vocal and dynamic acid line place the track squarely in peak time mode. A ‘diva’ style vocal then is introduced as a call to arms that takes the record to stellar heights that is sure to find favour with a broad cross section of dance floors.

‘Le Fonque’ a more subtle affair. A deep, warm and infectious baseline take centre stage here making this a perfect ‘scene setter’ for the more discerning floor.
