Riva Starr’s label Snatch! records presents a new EP from Federico Grazzini who makes his debut on the imprint following releases on high flying imprints such as Hottrax, Moan, VIVa MUSiC and Defected.

Alongside the two solo originals from Federico Grazzini is a track made in collaboration with label boss Riva Starr, who himself has featured on many of electronic music most iconic labels including Crosstown Rebels, Relief, DIRTYBIRD and Hot Creations.

Federico Grazzini and Riva Starr are both artists with roots in the Italian club scene, but both regularly fly across Europe and other parts of the globe to play headline DJ sets at some of the world’s most iconic clubs and festivals.

Opening the release is the collaboration between Federico and Riva that’s titled “Get Over”, and it features the compellingly sensual vocals of Robert Owens. The track has an old school vibe reminiscent of iconic cuts by people like Larry Heard aka Mr. Fingers, and despite the vocals being what gives it personality, it’s the bassline that’s going to get people hooked.

Track two “Yellow” is a solo cut from Federico Grazzini that starts out with stabbing melody synths that are soon joined by the light and breezy, acid-tinged melody. With a jacking groove influenced by the classic Chicago sound, this understated cut has snare rolls and all the elements needed for a timeless house track.

Closing the release is the second of Federico Grazzini’s solo original works called “Dancefloor” and this one is all about the funk with a focus on percussive flair. Seductive vocals and shuffling rhythms give this cut the booty shaking groove that has proved to get the club moving in a frenzy of delighted motion.
