Amelie Lens’ tight-knit techno imprint Lenske has taken the Belgium scene and beyond by storm, with crew member Milo Spykers reveling in fogged-out cuts with an appetite for power and an affinity towards the gritty soul of techno. Spykers makes his third appearance on the prolific label with the glorious Accelerator EP, ahead of now postponed sets at the acclaimed Tomorrowland and Extrema Outdoor festivals this summer.

Opening with title track ‘Accelerator’, a no-nonsense booming kick drum and acidic licks make for a colossal track that teases the 90s whilst remaining future-forward. The B-side only builds on the cosmic energy; ‘The Debris’ turns to the melodic, employing infectious synth work and languid vocal inflexions. Spyker’s flair for sprawling sound design is felt throughout, coming to fruition on the hypnotic ‘Heads Tilted Back’, featuring creeping percussive elements, psychedelic riffs and an indisputable groove. Three cuts destined to ignite the dance floor with Spyker’s consistent intensity, the record is an intoxicating listen.
