Australian producer Willaris. K adds yet another prolific name to his recent roster of remixes, with today’s release hailing from GRAMMY-nominated producer and DJ, Boys Noize. Putting his nonconformist spin on Willaris’ latest single, “Chapel ft. WaveIQ,” Boys Noize amplifies the already frenetic track with classic drum breaks, old school vocal samples and raw tech-driven rhythms. “Chapel” sits on Willaris’ warehouse-oriented EP Full Noise, released to widespread praise last month on Astralwerks.

Following a rudimentary approach in contrast to the introspective nature of Willaris. K’s previous releases, his Full Noise EP presents a collection of club cuts fit for after hours sets, featuring the legendary likes of Paul Mac and Seekae’s own George Nicholas. Earlier this year, he unveiled his LUSTRE EP, a varied six-track package of electronica, ambient, and techno records, met with acclaim from Mixmag, The Guardian UK, Beats 1, among others. Most recently, Willaris took to contrasting remixes of fellow Australian producer Flume’s single “The Difference ft. Toro y Moi” and rock trio DMA’s song “Life is a Game of Changing.” Since Willaris. K’s debut album Alchemy, he’s seen an astronomical rise in the electronic space, earning slots at world-class festivals like Coachella, Splendour in the Grass and Lollapalooza, alongside touring with GRAMMY-nominated band RÜFÜS DU SOL and selling out his own headline shows.

Propelled by an infatuation with sonic invention, Boys Noize has developed a peerless sound that transcends all categories. Embraced by the underground and adored on the main stage, the nonconformist German-Iraqi artist, DJ, producer, and label boss has forged a distinctive path through the world of electronic music, all on his own terms. The new decade kicked off with a GRAMMY nomination for “Midnight Hour” alongside Skrillex and Ty Dolla $ign, followed by his latest single “MVINLINE” on the coveted Defected Records and a surprise analog album STRICTLY BVNKER on his own Boysnoize Records. Most recently he earned praise for his boundless creativity on Lady Gaga’s chart-topping single, “Rain On Me (with Ariana Grande)” and contrastingly took to the FADER Digital FORT stage with a rare fully live modular industrial set.

You can now listen to the full premiere of Boys Noize’s remix exclusively on When We Dip. Enjoy!
