Budding Canadian artist Monarke is on a rapid rise. The Quebec-based producer, an established name on Berlin-based imprint Steyoyoke, is a versatile producer and he hasn’t stopped to look around. He has proved himself both skilled and prolific in the studio.
Monarke’s first release of 2021 sees him put his signature ethereal touch to HOKI’s emotive ‘Killing Mind’, turning in a monster rework that is sure to shake dance-floors around the world in the not too distant future.
It arrives on the new HOKI ‘REMIXED’ compilation release from the Montreal indie electronic duo. It brings together the best remixes from their early days, including works from the likes of Matthias Meyer, Clarian, DSF and The Drifter, as well as new exclusive remixes from Martin Roth, Alejandro Mosso, Ege Yanik and Monarke.
