Ton Töpferei is back in 2021 after a one year hiatus. They unlock a door to an open world scenario leading straight into a better future. They are back with a pandora box, a great compilation full of original music.

Born in the mid 90’s in Northern Germany, Holly North soon got introduced to music. Already with age of 7 he took his first Cello lessons which he kept up until to this point. Through his early classical musical education he quickly was able to develop his musical competence. When he was 14 years old he started playing electronic bass, performing with bands and ensembles. Living and traveling abroad, Holly made his first experiences with electronic music when he decided to take piano lessons in order to achieve a better theoretical background of the things he intuitively had done over a decade. As his fascination for composing songs and curiosity about electronic music grew, he began to produce own tracks on the computer. With the age of 17 he sent his first arrangements to friends and other musicians who encouraged him to continue. Since then he has had various releases on labels like Traum Schallplatten and Bar 25 as well as inter-genre remixes and collaborations with artists and bands such as Feine Sahne Fischfilet.

Holly is currently based in Berlin. His debut EP “Visionary“ is coming out this Fall on Ben Böhmer’s imprint Ton Töpferei while more works will be released by the End of 2021. On stage, he perfoms live with various instruments, both acoustic and electronic, while transcendencing genres and rules all reflecting his passion and enthusiasm for the exploration of sound. As part of different underground collectives like Love Foundation or Meer Bass he has been performing his liveset all over Germany.
