LevyM returns on connected alongside vocalist Elise De Koning, as the pair prepare to deliver ‘Dance Again’, backed by a remix from FNX Omar. Dutch artist LevyM is a relative newcomer in the electronic music scene. This multifaceted talent is known for his compelling live sets that incorporate live drums, synths and authentic percussion instruments. He has released material via Nervous and Mo’Black whilst contributing to connectedbeats edition2 last year and delivering his ‘Mwana’ single on the label alongside Idd Aziz. He now joins forces with vocalist Elise De Koning on the alluring ‘Dance Again’ for his latest offering.
The record opens with the captivating ‘Dance Again’, which takes listeners on a deep and immersive journey. The track combines subtle melodic elements with shimmering effects and luscious chords to create a slow-building experience before focusing on Elise’s intricate and delicate vocals. The package includes a stylish Dub version, fusing uplifting piano melodies with spiralling synths and a deep bassline sequence. FNX Omar’s interpretation reveals a stripped back, Afro House track from the Moroccan talent, powered by bright lines, pulsating rhythms and euphoric pads to shape up this exceptional offering.
