Panamanian duo and Cacao Records’ label bosses KEENE is back, this time joining forces on a massive collaboration with the talented Berlin based David Mayer and Argentinian queen Barbie Williams on the vocals, demonstrating their sophisticated styles.

‘Luna, Rojo y Palmera’ (Moon, Red & Palm Tree) makes reference to a magical night with red hues on a warm beach somewhere in the Caribbean. A dreamy night, filled with melancholy from the humming sounds coming from the coast. It takes its cues from breakbeats providing a complete retro-future feel, building through bobbing arpeggios and a rolling groove that pushes it forward. Big sweeps and minor chords punctuate in the background, while the sweet vocals add another dreamy touch. It’s a quite intense track that hypnotises, clearly an outstanding offering for this year’s calendar.
